Liferafts & Liferaft Servicing
Switlik Leisure Marine Liferafts use identical fabrics, valves and construction as our commerical products, in designs crafted for the recreational user.
RESCUE POD
The RESCUE POD is a very high quality inflatable flotation platform with canopy that supports four people and
offers basic protection from the elements. The compact sizes of its fiberglass container or soft valise allow it
to be carried aboard the smallest open sport fishing boat, dry cruiser or sail boat. Although small in packed size,
the RESCUE POD is extremely tough and durable.

MD-1 Life Raft
Designed for coastwise use, our single tube MD-1 Life Raft's construction methods, materials, components, and
equipment are identical to those used on our USCG Approved Coastal Life Raft. The MD-1 features the same buoyancy
chamber and canopy fabrics, inflation system, ballast pockets, and survival kit, all in a design that makes safety
more affordable.

Search & Rescue Life Rafts
Introducing Our NEW Search and Rescue Life Raft. The introduction of the Mark-II version of our Search and Rescue
Life Raft continues the Switlik tradition of providing the most advanced designs available anywhere to recreational
yachtsmen. The SAR-6-MKII is the marine version of the air-droppable life raft (Model LRU-20) we design for the

CLR6 Life Raft
The Switlik CLR6 Life Raft provides two separate chambers within the buoyancy tube by using two internal sleeves,
which are each closed at one end. The open ends are attached to the inside of the buoyancy tube at the same position
where bulkheads would normally be found. Upon inflation of the life raft, these internal sleeves lie flat and
uninflated on the bottom of the raft buoyancy tube, because air pressure throughout the entire interior of the
buoyancy tube is equal.

CLR-10 MK-II Life Raft
SWITLIK is proud to offer our new CLR-10 MK-II Life Raft. The CLR 10 MK-II Life Raft is identical to our
10 Person Capacity U.S.C.G. Approved/SOLAS MK-II Life Raft except the SOLAS equipment is replaced with a
U.S.C.G. Approved Coastal Service equipment pack. This allows the CLR-10 to be packed into a smaller,
lower profile, flat fiberglass container. Additional survival equipment appropriate to your vessel, crew,
and area of operation should be packed in a separate Abandon Ship Bag.

SOLAS 6 Person MK II Life Raft
This competely new "SOLAS" life raft's unique design and buoyancy chamber inner sleeves reduce bulk and allow
it to fit into a low profile flat fiberglass container. Twin "Gull-Wing" doors facilitate boarding from higher
freeboard vessels and the large openings provide excellent ventilation with 360° lookout capability. Double canopy
support arch tubes provide substantial head and shoulder room.

SOLAS 8, 10, 15, 20 & 25 Person MK II
The MK-II versions of our 8, 10, 15, 20 and 25 person capacity "SOLAS" life rafts feature large diameter buoyancy
tubes, extra large boarding entrances and a rigid boarding step in addition to a boarding ladder. Their two
counteropposed canopy arch support tubes offer more head and shoulder room than life rafts with a single canopy
support post. Heat sealed urethane coated fabric makes these rafts extremely abrasion resistant, long lived, and
affordable.
