COMAR Quick Release Ring Buoy Bracket

STOWAGE BRACKET for manoverboard bridge signals and life ring buoys. Operates with a single pull to EJECT a spring loaded 30 inch diameter, 4.5 kg (approximately 9 pounds) ring buoy, SOLAS/USCG approved, which is of a sufficient weight to release a 15-minute orange floating smoke signal
and 15-hour strobe light. Assures proper ignition, steel construction, and two units required per vessel.
The Quick Release is considered to satisfactorily meet the requirements of SOLAS Chapter III, Regulation 71.3 and 46 CFR 199.70 (A)(1)(V) for the
required means of quick release. All installations should be accomplished under the supervision of a Coast Guard inspector.

Red Handflare Mk8
A hand-held red flare designed to withstand exceptional environmental exposure and to perform reliably under
extreme conditions. The flare is encased in a steel tube for safety to eliminate damage from burning ashes.
For greater operational ease and safety, it is fitted with an integral pull, twist and strike firing mechanism.
Additional features of this signal are that waterproofing is achieved without the use of sealing tapes,
hence easier operation, and once ignited the flare will continue to operate if immersed in water.

Para Red Rocket MK8A
The Pains Wessex Para Red MK8A Rocket conforms to SOLAS 74/88 as amended. Designed to withstand exceptional environmental
exposure and to perform reliably even after immersion in water, the pull wire ignitor and improved grip provides
easy handling. Ejecting a red flare on a parachute at 300m (1000ft), burning for 40 seconds at 30,000 candela.
